SICK are well known for their bar code reading products, from hand-held devices to Airport scanning tunnels, but we are also the market leader in time-of-flight measurement. The LMS is used in many applications from measuring parcel sizes, to high-end security systems fitted thoughout the UK prison service detecting any would be escapists. Anti-collision is another area where the LMS is widely know for preventing cranes and AGV's colliding, but the same technology is applied to the retail sector where the PeCo unit reliably counts groups of people walking through large entrances.
